So, you think you know Greece? Well think again!

Come to our Greece is East event to discover more about the real Greece and to learn how you can be part of God’s mission to this beautiful but broken nation.

In July 2020, we moved from Aylesbury to Athens with our children James and Emma, inspired by a calling to Greece and compassion for refugees. Two years later, we are excited to have the opportunity to share about our adventures with you in person!

Why “Greece is East”? In our experience, Greece is not the Western European country many think it is. It’s heritage and heart are rooted in the East. This perspective changes how we share, pray, and model New Testament Christianity.

At Greece is East, we will share cultural insights and stories from our time settling in Athens and our encounters with both Greeks and refugees. We will also be joined by Andy McCullough who leads the Unreached Network team and shares our heart for seeing churches full of God’s word and spirit planted across the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East.

The evening will include time for Q&A’s, prayer and of course Greek souvlaki! We aim to be finished by 6.30pm at the latest.

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
