We would like to share a story with you of one of our highlights from Newday, a christian festival that gathers young people from across our newfronitiers family and beyond.
We had the priviliage of hosting a stand at Newday this year, where we shared three simple facts with the delegates:
🌍 43% of the world is considered unreached with the Gospel.
🌍 Only around 3% of missionaries serving cross-culturally are sent to these 43%.
🌍 For every £1 given to Christian causes, less than 1p goes towards reaching the unreached.
We talked about how, whatever our age, we can all play a part in reaching people who have little or no access to the Gospel.
One 7-year-old girl took that to heart.
The next day, she came back to our stand carrying a handful of 2p coins to give towards “reaching the unreached peoples”. And the following day, she came back with another 17p to add to her gift.
It might have been a small amount, but it was a beautiful reminder that everyone can give something.
You don’t have to be a missionary. You don’t have to have lots of money. You can pray, give, go, send and encourage.
