Twelve Songs for Christmas: Thailand

Our worship song for today comes from Thailand, and was written by Marcia Yu. You can enjoy this beautiful Thai worship song below, or here.

More About the Song

This song was written in Thai to recount and celebrate the birth of Christ.

Parts of Thailand have been exposed to and now partake in the commercialised festivities associated with Christmas, but are less familiar with the glorious good news and the implications of Christ’s birth. Many Thai people may observe aspects of Christmas tradition, but will signify it as a foreigner’s holiday. It is often unlinked with our Savior’s humble beginning as a human on this Earth. Trusting that the hope and peace that can only be found in Jesus will be communicated through this seasonal song of praise.

One Light Church in Chiang Rai is in the north of Thailand, and is part of the Advance family of churches.
