We are excited to introduce you to ‘Unity‘, a small group resource for churches focused on ‘postures, skills & processes for conflict transformation in churches‘. This free resource has been developed by Seek Peace, an organisation which aims to equip churches and communities of faith to be a voice for peace. You can learn more about Seek Peace and their work here.
What does ‘Unity’ contain?
This resource contains 10 sessions designed for small group study within churches. Each session includes core content, an ‘Explore Further’ section, and discussion questions.
This study is structured in three parts. Moving from the inside out, it begins with our postures (the attitudes of our heart), moves onto the skills we use to understand one another, and concludes with the processes we use to transform Church conflict.
How do you use the resource?

Before starting each session, Seek Peace recommend creating a welcoming environment by using the following structure, found also in the resource:
1. Start with Prayer: Commit your time to God.
2. Agree on group principles. Session 1 includes an activity to help your group agree on ground rules for your conversations. Each week take time to remind each other of the group principles.
3. Read the Content. Divide the reading among participants.
4. Discuss. Take your time with the discussion questions, allowing everyone space to think and share.
5. End with Prayer. Conclude with prayer for one another.
Then, simply read and follow the simple-to-use guide for your group’s study session.
You can access this free resource here.
We look forward to hearing what you learn from this study and how it blesses you and your church.
