God’s Masterpiece

Ephesians 2:10a For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works

Maybe you are called to be intense

To highlight what others cannot see

To be salt and a piercing light

To be the uncomfortable edge that holds the form in shape

To be the little that brings everything else into focus

Maybe you need to be intense

In order to serve your purpose

Maybe you can only do a little

Because only a little is needed

Trying to blend in and be less sharp

Trying not to be different or offend

Trying to be just like everyone else

Will cause you to lose your purpose and calling

The beautiful masterpiece becomes a blur of the same

God’s work is obscured

God’s work is wasted

God’s work is left undone
