Twelve Songs For Christmas: France

The next song in our series comes from France, and was written by Olivier Sarkis. The name of the song is ‘Laissez entrer le Roi‘, which means ‘Let the King Enter‘ in French. You can enjoy this beautiful worship song below, or here.

I’m Olivier Sarkis, a French songwriter passionate about Jesus and seeing His Kingdom come.

I’m married to my wife Elodie, and we have three children. I’m one of the leaders of CONNECT Church in Montélimar, which we planted ten years ago. I also run a business as a chartered accountant and have had the grace to see God’s Kingdom breaking into many lives around me into my work.

My heart burns to see God’s glory and to invite His people — through my gifts and calling — to worship Him and declare that honour, glory, power, and praise belong to Jesus, the Lamb of God.

I love writing songs based on Scripture, fully convinced that there is power in singing God’s Word — and it’s also a great way to memorise it.

Join us every other day of Advent 2025 for more worship songs in different languages from believers across the globe to celebrate this Christmas season together.
